    Shailendra Gupta

    Executive VP and President, Mobility & Lifecycle Services

    Shailendra Gupta serves as executive vice president and president, Mobility. In this position, he is responsible for the highly strategic global mobility business. His responsibilities include outlining and achieving the mid-to-long term vision for the mobility business, driving accelerated growth and profitability and realizing near- and longer-term revenue and cost synergies from the October 2012 acquisition of device lifecycle mobility leader Brightpoint, Inc. He was named to the position in August 2013.

    Prior to this role, Shailendra most recently served as integration lead on the global BrightPoint  integration  in addition to spending the last six years heading Ingram Micro's Asia Pacific operations as senior executive vice president and president, Asia Pacific. In this role he excelled at identifying and capitalizing on early market trends that resulted in significant revenue growth and profitability contribution from key emerging markets, including China and India.

    Before joining Ingram Micro, Shailendra spent nine years with Tech Pacific Group, starting in 1995 as managing director of India. He was later promoted to chief executive officer in 2001. Tech Pacific Group was one of Asia Pacific’s largest technology distributors, generating AUD$3.1 billion in revenue (based on Australian GAAP) for the 2003 fiscal year.

    When Ingram Micro acquired Tech Pacific in 2004, Shailendra joined Ingram Micro as chief operating officer of Ingram Micro Asia Pacific, and successfully led the complex integration process of Tech Pacific with Ingram Micro.

    Prior to his work with Ingram Micro and Tech Pacific, Shailendra worked for 10 years in Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., India, a large diversified Indian conglomerate. During his tenure, he held various management roles, including a manufacturing plant responsibility.

    Shailendra earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1983 from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and an MBA in 1985 from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, both premier Indian institutes.

    Jac Currie

    Executive VP & President, Europe, Mobility

    Jac Currie serves as executive vice president and president of Europe Mobility for Ingram Micro and is responsible for the strategic direction, sales growth and business development of the division for the region. He began in this role in February 2013 shortly after BrightPoint was acquired by Ingram Micro Inc.

    Prior to this role, Jac was most recently executive vice president and chief information officer of BrightPoint, where he was responsible for the development and execution of the global information technology strategy from 2006 until May 2012, when he left the company for personal reasons.

    From 2006 to 2007, he served as president of emerging markets for BrightPoint, during which time he expanded the company's presence in Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and South East Asia helping to drive revenues in the region. Jac was also instrumental in the acquisition and subsequent integration of Dangaard Telecom AS, a former competitor.

    Jac joined BrightPoint in 1998 as regional managing director of the Middle East business, also responsible for expansion into Southeast Asia. In 2002, he oversaw a management buy-out of BrightPoint's operations across the Middle East and Africa and entered into a joint venture with BrightPoint to establish BrightPoint India.

    Prior to his tenure with BrightPoint, Jac served in roles with Islacom Philippines, Spectrum Communications in East Africa and Millicom International Cellular in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
